For the month of September, our focus was to educate people on the importance and how-to of fire and road safety. The video was divided into two sections, a fire safety section and a road safety section, spoken all in filipino, the video talks about the many ways we can stay safe. In these video we focused on rules and tips such as, remembering that 911 is the number to call when there is a fire and never use your phone while you drive.
The distribution of the video was public for all, however was connected to our Sari-Sari store through our rewards programs, if a customer has spent more than or equal to 200 pesos worth of goods they would be given a link and a quiz with question about safety. If they showed that they learned enough about safety from our video to answer the questions correctly we gave them a free kit of items relating to safety worth 200 pesos. We believe that with the incentive of free things we could both boost the sales while also educating those who bought from our store and through receiving our kits we hope not only to educate, but to also improve the safety of each of our customers.
