For this outreach presentation, we created a presentation which educated the customers of our Sari-Sari store of personal hygiene. This hygiene video presentation was presented in Filipino for the ease of the watchers and consisted of hygiene tips, such as always washing each part of your body and avoiding germs! This is especially important in the times of hardship we are under with the spread of the covid-19 pandemic.
The distribution of the video was public for all, however was connected to our Sari-Sari store through our rewards programs, if a customer has spent more than or equal to 200 pesos worth of goods they would be given a link and a quiz with question about hygiene. If they showed that they learned enough about hygiene from our video to answer the questions correctly we gave them a free kit of items relating to hygiene worth 200 pesos. We believe that with the incentive of free things we could both boost the sales while also educating those who bought from our store and through receiving our kits we hope not only to educate, but to also improve the health and hygiene of each of our customers.
