This cycle strayed from the traditional structure of the Teach the Teachers program, as it was my first time teaching kids and not teachers! Because of COVID-19, I was not able to plan another cycle with the teachers from Bagong Tanyag Elementary School. Instead, I decided to modify my existing Photoshop lesson plan and teach kids aged 8-13. I also taught them the basics of Adobe Illustrator! In the middle of our sessions, Metro Manila moved to MECQ, so I had to conduct some of our lessons over Zoom.
We were able to go more in depth with the lessons, and after twelve sessions, everyone learned how to make a simple poster, edit images using several tools, create adjustment layers, use clipping and layer masks, create icons and illustrations, create simple GIFs, and much more!
